About LearningPick
About
Evidence-led research for deciding what is worth learning, what kind of evidence a route can produce, and what trade-offs matter before you commit time or money.
What LearningPick does
LearningPick is an independent learning research site. It helps readers make career-learning decisions by separating product facts from editorial judgment and by making uncertainty visible when the evidence is incomplete.
The site is designed around decision questions: what a route teaches, what it assesses, who it fits, what evidence it can help you build, what it does not establish, and what the next useful step is.
What we research
LearningPick researches professional certificates, learning programs, courses, specializations, career tracks, learning platforms, subscriptions, and certification assessments. These product types are not treated as interchangeable.
- Teaching routes are evaluated for what they teach, how they sequence learning, and what practice or project evidence they provide.
- Certification assessments are treated as tests of existing capability unless the official evidence separately establishes a teaching component.
- Platforms and subscriptions are evaluated as learning environments or access models, not as if the entire catalog were one course.
How research becomes a recommendation
Research starts with primary provider, issuer, curriculum, pricing, assessment, and credential sources. LearningPick records the evidence that supports a claim, keeps verification dates for time-sensitive facts, and separates unresolved or conflicting information from confirmed facts.
Editorial pages then translate those maintained facts into a decision: who a route is for, where it is a poor fit, what trade-off matters, and what should be checked before paying.
How AI is used
AI may assist with research organization, extraction, comparison, and drafting. Public recommendations are still checked against the available evidence and LearningPick editorial rules. AI output is not treated as a source for factual product claims.
Editorial independence and affiliate relationships
Some outbound links may be affiliate links, but affiliate relationships do not determine inclusion, LearningPick Scores, recommendation roles, comparison outcomes, or editorial conclusions.
Corrections and accountability
Learning products change. When a material fact is found to be wrong, outdated, or unsupported, LearningPick corrects the public content and keeps unknowns visible when a reliable answer cannot be established.
